Tricia Warfield, Office Manager, joined the Office of Athletic Development in the summer of 2017. Tricia started her career part time with the University of Illinois in 2012 in the Executive Office of International Programs and Studies. From there, she accepted a full position in the Department of History where she remained for four years before joining Athletic Development.
A native of Fithian, Illinois, and graduate of nearby Oakwood High School, Tricia received her degree in interior design from Brooks College in Long Beach, California. She and her husband, Glenn, currently live in Champaign with their daughter, Libbie. When she’s not spending time with family, pets or working, she enjoys lending her knowledge of over 25 years of design practice and business with friends and new acquaintances; cheering on the Fighting Illini and volunteering.
Tricia’s primary role is in the Champaign Office of Athletic Development where she supports Carrie Ummel, Associate Director of Athletics for Development; Chris Tuttle, Director of Development; and Lee Zerrusen, Varsity I Director. She also supports athletic department staff with submitting and processing travel reimbursements and related expenses, as well as assisting with Athletic Development events.
