Turner is a graduate from Champaign Central High School.
Job Responsibilities:
Turner’s role is in the I FUND Office includes processing & depositing donor payments and supporting development officers in both the Champaign and Chicago offices.
Past Experience:
Turner began her tenure with the University of Illinois in July 2001 with the McKinley Health Center, where she worked for four years. During that time she also held a position in the Illinois Facilities Division from 2001-2008. In 2008, Turner moved to the Department of ACES Tax School.
Personal:
Turner was born and raised in Champaign. She and her husband, Devon, have four children Ranija, Devon, Jr., Jastin, and Torian. She works closely with her husband who is the founder of the non-profit mentoring program for at-risk youth in the Champaign community called Boyz2Men. The mission of Boyz2Men is to improve the academic achievement, self-esteem, social awareness and social competence of young African American males by providing them with professional male mentors.
